On March 8th I took my friend Joe to one of my favorite hiking spots in Oregon, Abiqua Falls. Abiqua Falls is a 92 foot waterfall located outside Scotts Mills in Oregon. Volcanic activity created this columnar basalt amphitheater that surrounds the falls and gives it a surreal feeling. It is a short hike if you have a 4x4 vehicle and can drive close to the trailhead. The hike includes a ropes section to help navigate the slopes that bring you down to the creek. It gets very busy here, so we arrived early and watched the sun rise over the falls.
Please enjoy the pictures I took on this trip and if you love any of them and would like to help support my next trip please consider purchasing a print hereto decorate your house with.
